Why work with me?

After investing 15+ years of time, education and $ into my own health journey, I want to partner with you and get to the root of your struggles ASAP so your journey doesn’t have to be as long and frustrating as mine!

My goal as your guide is to support and teach you how to reduce your body’s stress load to open it to healing mode via things like mindset practices, meditation and breath work, while also individualizing a root-cause approach to your current symptoms and struggles.

Why I’m different:

  • Beyond my traditional Registered Dietitian degree and licensure, I’ve studied multiple modalities of additional functional medicine nutrition curriculum; via the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy and certification as an Integrative and Functional Gastrointestinal Dietitian via the SIBO Academy.

  • I go beyond just nutrition. Stress has a significant impact on our ability to heal; I have found that for those who have chronically struggled with gut issues, it’s difficult and sometimes impossible to fully heal without addressing the elephant in your room (STRESS).

  • I acknowledge the power of going beyond the textbook to acknowledge the human in front of me (vs. just what medicine says to do on paper). I’ve spent over 400+ hours studying eastern approaches to healing including but not limited to yoga, buddhist meditation and breath work.

1:1 Nutrition Coaching Intensive Package FAQ:

  1. I’ve already spent a lot of $$ on my health, I’m scared to spend more! I get it and I’ve been in your shoes! The purpose of the 4 month investment in working with me is to have plenty of time to look at all facets of your health and acquire testing that has clinical utility to get you to your goal of feeling well. It is an investment to work together being that the financial investment is a reflection of the time and energy investment I provide to you as well as holding you accountable to the energetic investment on your end.

  2. Why don’t you take insurance? I no longer practice as an insurance-based dietitian. Due to the energy investment on my mind for each private client and the broad spectrum support I offer that goes beyond just clinical nutrition, my services are out of pocket only. Insurance unfortunately only offers to pay dietitians for their clinical nutrition services on a specific session basis and due to the nature of supporting my clients beyond a structured session, I am passionate about giving you the utmost support. Please ask about super bills and HSA/FSA spending!

  3. What’s the time investment to work with you 1:1? I recommend that clients use their sessions weekly initially and then biweekly at the halfway point. Each session is 30-45 minutes and the first session is 60-75 minutes. This container is truly a ‘you get out of it what you put into it’ model. You are able to on demand message me, use the nervous system resources as much as you like and ask for private breath work mini sessions as needed. In addition, you have complimentary access to the NOURISHED membership community in which we have 1 group zoom call meeting monthly.

  4. I’m a fellow dietitian/health coach, is this right for me? Yes, I’ve worked with a number of fellow heath experts on supporting their health journey. I have worked with practitioners and definitely believe in the importance of being held in a container by another provider.

  5. I’m looking for support of a like-minded community, would this be a good fit? Yes! You’ll automatically get access as a 1:1 private client to the NOURISHED community; an exclusive group of like-minded women and monthly community group calls.
