Teriyaki Ginger Meatballs
What you Need
1# ground meat *
3/4-1 cup GF Teriyaki/Asian Sauce**
2 T coconut flour (or flour of choice)
2 T diced onion
1 T grated ginger
1 large garlic clove (grated)
½ tsp salt
coconut oil
*I used Force of Nature ground venison but this recipe would also be great with ground beef/pork or caveman/primal/ancestral beef blend (with hidden organ meats)
** I used Muay Thai; but I also recommend Primal Kitchen Teriyaki sauce
How you do it
Preheat oven to 350
Combine meat in a bowl with all other ingredients-use your hands to mix well
Form into balls and preheat a cast iron on medium/high heat with 1/2 T coconut oil
Add meatballs to the pan and saute for 3 min covered and then flip/roll in the pan to sear and cook for another 3 min
Cover in sauce and then place into preheated oven for 10 minutes
I love this served with coconut rice, sauteed bok choy and mushrooms
