Teriyaki Ginger Meatballs

Meatballs in <30 min?! Enjoy!

Serves 4

Cook time: ~20-25 min

What you Need

  • 1# ground meat *

  • 3/4-1 cup GF Teriyaki/Asian Sauce**

  • 2 T coconut flour (or flour of choice)

  • 2 T diced onion

  • 1 T grated ginger

  • 1 large garlic clove (grated)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • coconut oil

*I used Force of Nature ground venison but this recipe would also be great with ground beef/pork or caveman/primal/ancestral beef blend (with hidden organ meats)

** I used Muay Thai; but I also recommend Primal Kitchen Teriyaki sauce

How you do it

Preheat oven to 350

  1. Combine meat in a bowl with all other ingredients-use your hands to mix well

  2. Form into balls and preheat a cast iron on medium/high heat with 1/2 T coconut oil

  3. Add meatballs to the pan and saute for 3 min covered and then flip/roll in the pan to sear and cook for another 3 min

  4. Cover in sauce and then place into preheated oven for 10 minutes

I love this served with coconut rice, sauteed bok choy and mushrooms
